About Battersea

Northcote Road is inthe heart of Battersea and is home to our first and flagship office. It is a vibrant shopping street and the epicentre of the so-called ‘Nappy Valley’, named because of the young family dynamic and because the road lies over a culveted stream (the Falconbrook) giving it a low-lying position between Wandsworth and Clapham Commons.

The road is home to many restaurants, cafés and shops as well as the indoor Northcote Road Antiques Market. Summertime weekends see the road closed to traffic and restaurants and bars spill out onto the pedestrianised zone. As the home of Battersea Ironsides Sports Club (proudly sponsored by Rampton Baseley), the area boasts the rugby club with the largest membership in Europe, as well as a popular and competitive cricket club.

The area is very well connected with trains into Waterloo and Victoria from Clapham Junction and bus routes that serve Chelsea, the West End and beyond.
